This unit completes the full alphabet (UFLI lessons 24–34) with the letters r, l, w, j, y, x, qu, v, and z. By the end, children have a sound for every letter and can read and spell a wide range of short-vowel words. Heart words like from, look, are, was, you, what, and have round out a strong foundation for independent reading.
