Everything you need to hit the ground running. Before you open a single lesson, read through this section to understand how the program works, who it's designed for, and how to make the most of your time with your learner.

How the Program Is Organized
Rabbit Hole Learning's Lvl. 0 Learning to Reading is made up of 8 units that build on each other.

Units 1–4 cover pre-reading skills: listening awareness, rhyme, syllables, and the alphabetic principle. Unit 5 is an optional bridge unit based on UFLI's Getting Ready sequence. Units 6–8 follow the UFLI Foundations phonics program

Unit 6 covers lessons 1–10 (first letters and short vowels)
Unit 7 covers lessons 11–23 (remaining short vowels and more letters)
Unit 8 covers lessons 24–34 (completing the alphabet).

Each unit contains lessons, a scope and sequence, a teacher/parent guide, and a book recommendation list. You do not need to complete every activity in every lesson, use what fits your child and your time.
